Yatta! We did it! I think. I am both proud and honored to finally present to you our 100th episode. It's more or less a listener questions show, but a little more personal this time around. Also, Chad totally wrote a song especially for this occasion, and he totally sings it. I imagine it will change the course of human history. Other highlights include:

Thu, 13 August 2009 ![]() Happy not-quite-Friday, listeners. This week we recorded our audio commentary track for The Wizard. Hopefully you've been able to obtain a copy of the film, otherwise this is going to be the most boring and confusing episode you've ever listened to. If you have, you can sync up with us after the first half of the podcast and watch the movie along with us, MST3K-style. Highlights this week include:

Fri, 7 August 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners! This week's episode is all about Super Metroid, and might also be the first time Chad and Dyson have discussed the topic together without arguing. Not a bad way to bring us toward the end of the season. Highlights include:
As always, subscribe to us on iTunes to get the show early, or check it out over here. Only two episodes remain before we wrap up our second season, but contrary to what the bullies on the playground have been telling you, we're not going anywhere. We'll be taking a few weeks off after our 100th show, so you guys can catch up on any episodes you might have missed, and we can enjoy a little vacation. But we'll return before you know it, possibly with some new surprises. Oooh. |
Fri, 31 July 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners. This week we finally recorded our Final Fantasy VII episode, as this season's final installment of our Retro Limbo series. It's a long show, and it's packed full of talk about stuff like:

Fri, 24 July 2009 ![]() With the ladies away at SDCC, Chad, Dyson, Conrad and I got together to record the manliest episode of RetroforceGO ever. If we'd planned it to happen this way, we could have done something super testosterone-driven, but instead we talked about pinball, because that's what was on the schedule. I guess that's still pretty manly when you think about it. Beefy highlights include:

Fri, 10 July 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners. This week's episode was made up entirely of your questions, so if it's lame, it's totally your fault. And if it's awesome, then you should pat yourself on the back for being so good at coming up with interesting things for us to talk about. Also for being cute, because you are. Highlights this week include:

Fri, 3 July 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners. While our show is never exactly what you'd call "safe for work," this episode is seriously NSFW. Conrad joined us this week, to discuss all the dirty, pervy things that game developers used to be able to get away with. Stuff like:

Fri, 19 June 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners. There was a bit of trouble getting the show uploaded this week, but thanks to the vigilance of Geraldo Beedog, all has turned out well. Thank you, sir. This week we were joined by one of our very favorite listeners, Naia-the-gamer, as we discussed Final Fantasy IV. That's Final Fantasy II if you played it on the SNES, because Square's favorite thing to do is confuse us with its haphazard numbering protocol. Subject matter aside, this week's episode is special because it features lots of girls. You won't find that over at Podtoid. No sir. I'm talking about vaginas, folks -- as I often like to do -- and we're surrounded by 'em this week. So many in fact, that today's header image is crafted by our own Stella Wong, circa 1992. Lovely, isn't it? This week's girly highlights include:

Fri, 12 June 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners. This week we discussed all the things that pleased and displeased us about this year's E3. We also laughed a lot and talked about pancakes, because that's in our job description. Fun fact for the RFGO edition of Trivial Pursuit. Highlights?

Fri, 22 May 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners! This week Anthony Burch joined us to discuss zombies, and what sort of instruments we'd like to use to kill him in the even that he bcomes one. Or how he'd like to kill us. Or why killing zombies in general is so much fun. Highlights include:

Wed, 13 May 2009 ![]() Happy Fri ... er, Wednesday, listeners! This week we recorded a bit early, so hopefully our yammering will help accellerate the arrival of your Friday. Or at the very least, make up for the lack of a Podtoid this week, which I can safely say you are better off without in this paticular instance. The horror ... I can still taste it ... Anyway, yes, highlights:

Fri, 8 May 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners! Since the rest of the cast was away this week, Chad and I decided that, rather than skip the show altogether, we'd just record our own episode about whatever the hell we wanted. What we wanted was an episode about the Muppets. Not Muppets games, not videogames that the Muppets could possibly star in, just a show about the f*cking Muppets. So that's what we did. Anthony Burch joined us for the second half, because he is wise and also loves the Muppets. So much for our promise of less mayhem this week. Oh well. As always, you can check us out on iTunes, or get the new episode right here. We'll be back next week, maybe with less mayhem. I don't feel comfortable making that promise anymore. Enjoy!Comments[0] |
Fri, 1 May 2009 ![]() Happy Friday, listeners! This week was the second in our hardware series, in which we discussed peripherals. And then ... well, you can take a listen for yourself. Everything sort of spiralled into madness. We crashed the show into a busy port town and killed a couple people, but overall it came out okay. Maybe.
